Wolf Moon 2018

Yesterday was the first day of the year and the first full supermoon of 2018! What an incredible view we had here on the Central Coast of California. Slightly shaded by clouds, bursting with glow.

As the new year begins, people often start new resolutions, set new goals, and promise to “do better.” By doing this, we often push ourselves too far, too fast, too soon. While giving yourself goals and planning a better future for yourself is healthy and beneficial, remember to take a few minutes each day for your self-care and love. Take a bath once a month and find a relaxing place to lie in the sun (or the moon!) Remember to stop, slow down, breathe, relax, and love yourself.

You cannot achieve your goals without believing in yourself. You are worth the love.

On another note:

Yesterday was also my very first Full Moon Self-Care Group (FMSC). We met on the beach, I had a fire going in the center and we practiced the art of grounding, worked pressure points, and stretched, we took breaths in rhythm with the waves, and we danced and howled at the moon. Overall, I thought it was an amazing beginning to the new year and the beginning of a wonderful group get-together.
